Mountain Peak Nutritionals was founded in 1997 by Dr. Jim Massey. The goal of Mountain Peak is to assist doctors in successfully addressing the chronic degenerative diseases that they commonly see in their practices today. We do this by providing doctors with Condition Specific Formulas™. Each formula is based on the most up-to-date scientific research, clinical studies, and medical nutritional information available.
How are the Condition Specific Formulas created?
The formulas are created jointly by Dr. Massey and other physicians in clinical practice. All ingredients are reviewed for clinical efficacy and safety. Only those ingredients that have demonstrated to give the best therapeutic results are considered. The final selection of ingredients are determined by their synergistic action with one another. All ingredients are also crossed-referenced with one another to ensure a safe combination.

Our formulas are also routinely assayed by an independent company to certify that each formula contains all the raw materials listed on the label.
Our formulas are also hypo-allergenic, containing no wheat, dairy, eggs, yeast, soy, sugar or preservatives. All formulas are encapsulated without the use of binders, fillers, or coatings. We also exclude the use of magnesium stearate, stearic acid and other flowing agents that can inhibit the absorption of essential nutrients.

Dr. Jim Massey is passionate about nutrition. He is a doctor that walks his talk and takes his own medicine. As a family physician with over 25 years of experience in clinical nutrition, he has personally witenssed the tremendous benefits nutritional supplementation can provide. He has also worked with many leading nutritional companies, helping them develop new products.
Since starting Mountain Peak Nutritionals, Dr. Massey still maintains his family practice in Portland, Oregon, teaches clinical nutrition, writes medical articles, and guest lectures throughout the United States. He continues to research new ways to help other doctors be more effective in their medical practices.
